Accessibility
Designed to be readable and usable
Meia Lab aims to make its website and product experiences accessible to as many people as possible. We are continually improving and welcome feedback when something does not work well for you.
Our commitment
Accessibility is part of building a product women can trust. We aim to improve toward recognised accessibility standards and to design with clarity, contrast, and inclusive language in mind.
Mobile-first readability
Meia Lab is built with mobile use as a primary consideration. Text sizes, spacing, and touch targets are designed for comfortable reading and interaction on phones and tablets.
Colour and contrast
We use colour thoughtfully to support hierarchy and readability on our dark interface. We continue to review contrast between text, backgrounds, and interactive elements as the product evolves.
Keyboard and assistive technology
We aim to support keyboard navigation and common assistive technologies where practicable. Some areas of the product are still improving, and we prioritise fixes that remove barriers to core tasks such as completing an assessment, viewing a reading, and using the dashboard.
Plain language
Health information should not require a medical degree to understand. Meia Lab uses plain English, clear headings, and respectful tone throughout the platform.
Ongoing improvements
We do not claim formal WCAG conformance unless independently verified. Accessibility is an ongoing process. As we add features and pages, we review them with accessibility in mind and address issues as they are identified.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier while using Meia Lab, please contact hello@meialab.com. Helpful details include the page or feature, your device and browser, and any assistive technology in use.
