What data we may collect

Assessment responses

When you complete the Meia Lab assessment, we collect the information you provide about symptoms, health background, lifestyle context, and related inputs needed to generate your reading.

Check-in data

If you use daily check-ins or the dashboard, we collect the signal ratings, notes, and contextual information you choose to record over time.

Account and contact details

If you create an account or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, account credentials, and correspondence with our team.

Payment information

If you purchase a full report or other paid product, payment details are handled by third-party payment processors. Meia Lab does not intentionally store full card details on our own systems. We may receive limited payment-related information such as transaction status, amount, date, and a payment reference.

Technical and usage data

We may collect technical information such as device type, browser, operating system, IP address, pages visited, and general usage patterns. This helps us maintain security, fix errors, and improve the product.

AI processing

Meia Lab uses automated systems, including AI models, to help interpret patterns in the information you provide and generate readable summaries. This processing supports interpretation. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Health-related information you submit may be processed to deliver product features you request. We aim to apply appropriate safeguards and limit processing to what is needed for the service.

How we protect data

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take protection seriously and review our practices as the product evolves.

How long we keep data

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and your account status. You may request deletion as described in our Data Rights page.
